Absolute Poker Report for December Release
Canada’s Kahnawake Gaming Commission has issued a progress report on its investigations into AbsolutePoker.com’s hole card cheating debacle and indicated that a report could be presented as early as next week.

The Commission stated that Gaming Associates, a test and audit firm brought in for the investigation, is currently finalising its report into the online poker site and that this could be released as early as December 7.

'The Kahnawake Gaming Commission's investigation into the Absolute Poker situation is active and on-going,' read a statement from the Commission.

'The Commission's agents, Gaming Associates, are in the process of finalizing its audit of AbsolutePoker.com's operations and will be submitting a report to the Commission of its findings. The Commission will review this report and decide the appropriate course of action.

'To avoid the possibility of jeopardizing its investigation, the Commission will not comment on this matter until such time as it has reached a decision. The Commission expects to receive a final copy of the audit report by December 7, 2007.'

AbsolutePoker.com has admitted that a flaw in its software enabled a company consultant to view other players' hole cards and win up to $800,000 unfairly.
