Prison for Compulsive Online Gambler
A former school treasurer in the American state of Ohio faces up to five years in prison after admitting to stealing $57,000 to feed an online gambling addiction.

The Associated Press news agency reported that Scott Glandon stole the money while employed by the Westfall school district in Pickaway County to gamble on online horse races.

Forty-two-year old Glandon pleaded guilty in November to two counts of theft while in office and will be sentenced on Wednesday. He resigned in April after being discovered by State auditors and has repaid the full amount.
