It is easier to play Texas Holdem then some of the other poker games because everyone is using the same cards with the exception of their hole cards to make the best hand. Seeing the cards lined up on the table allows you a better perspective on the cards then if they were in your hand. You can watch the player's eyes and you can get an idea of what each player has or is trying to make. This makes bluffing much harder, even a hard core poker veteran will tend to look at a card they can use a little longer then they should. When you see a player constantly going back from their hand to a specific card they are giving away that they are going to use that card or are hoping to be able to use the card. Playing against people who play at your skill level or better makes the game more of a challenge and therefore more exciting. The game has been made even more popular in recent years thanks to all the television shows that have popped up, this and all the different high stakes Texas Holdem tournaments that are always taking place somewhere have made people who would normally not have been interested in poker start to learn the game and take an interest in it. Texas Holdem Poker has supported more professional gamblers then any other casino game. The top ranked players can bring up millions of dollars a year from winnings and sponsorship deals. The longer Texas Holdem Poker tops the charts of the most popular casino games the more people who are going to want to learn to lay the game and this will just make the game more popular and will ensure it will be around for a long time.
