There all types of poker players in the world. Some play free poker at home or in pubs, some enjoy poker tournaments, and some prefer Cash Games. Do you love the river? Do you fear it? Chances are that if you’re a good, solid player who likes to grind it out, you don’t like the river. Remember, next time you hit the felt, the river is just part of the game. Sometimes it’s your friend and sometimes it’s your enemy. Don’t get emotional about it either way and watch your table image grow. When your table image grows, opponents begin to respect you more. When opponents begin to respect you more, they don’t want to get involved in pots with you as much. This, in turn, will lead to you winning more money.
